Spiritual Growth (Growing in the word).
Growth is inevitable in life, everything in life such as humans, animal, business, academics, career, marriage, etc. are expected to grow from stage to stage, when this doesn’t happen it is considered to be a problem, this also applies to our spiritual life as a Christian.
As a believer in Christ we are meant to grow from babes into adulthood, to grow we need the word of God just as babies need milk to grow. The Bible says; “As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby” (1peter 2:2).
Spiritual Growth does not depend on the number of years as a Christian but it’s the level of maturity displayed in Christ, Just as a child is not meant to remain a baby forever, we as Christians ought not to remain in the same level forever, we are expected to grow from stage to stage and to do that we have to hunger/desire the word of God and study it with all sincerity.
